Hello, I’m Hannah

As someone who’s moved around countless times, from one side of the world to the other and back again, photos have become incredibly important to me. The process of packing our lives into boxes and moving, became something of a routine to me. I remember always desperately holding on to anything I could, that would serve as a memoir and transport me right back to a certain moment; The people I met and the places I've visited will always be a part of who I am. As technology advanced, despite iCloud and external hard-drives, it remained the physical prints of photographs that I loved and even now, I still have boxes full of them. I suppose this is the reason that I am a bit of a romantic when it comes to photography! Photographing weddings happened quite naturally to me after my studies and so setting up my business came pretty quickly next step for me, having shot everything from corporate head-shots to huge events, children’s fashion to properties to figure out a ‘niche’.

Nowadays, you can find me tucked up in the Blackdown Hills where I live with my family and our fur babies, Indie the dog and a growing collection of Maine Coon kitties. I spend my days photographing beautiful families and couples on their Wedding days, new Mama’s-to-be, their babies and everything in between. I am lucky enough to be witness to some incredible stories and I hope to one day document yours. Clients have become friends to me, and I truly adore my job (despite the sleepless nights it gives me, especially when I’m on call!)

I’m so happy you’re here and can’t wait to chat through any ideas you have for your wedding, elopement or lifestyle session. The more wild the better! My biggest priority at our session is making you feel comfortable and to have fun - which is how we’ll achieve those cherished photographs that you’ll want to print and frame all over your walls. So much more than simply a tool allowing me to fulfil my own creativity, photography gives me the privilege of telling stories, evoking emotion and connecting with people all across the world. In our session, I hope to offer a sanctuary where you can hold your loved ones and just be together whilst I capture all the love. Offering tangible memories is my biggest honour.

Getting to know the people I photograph is so important for me to be able to authentically capture you and I absolutely love to hear the stories behind each and every love, so please share them with me! My work is never overly posed (sometimes a little adjustment may be needed!) and I pride myself in working ‘behind the scenes’ at weddings to truly document your day, seamlessly fitting in to not miss a moment. Lifestyle sessions with me will always be full of fun - Running barefoot through forests, sharing picnics in meadows, splashing across streams… all these things hold exactly the kind of magic I’d love to capture for your family.
